Andrew Choi is currently a junior at Rick Reedy High School. He enjoys a great variety of things: music, math, sports, video games, and many more. From this willingness to try new things, he always has an insatiable desire for knowledge.
As a person, Andrew Choi is a very vibrant personality. Always up for a challenge, he is confident in his ability to succeed. From this, he has a very easygoing attitude that makes him relaxed and perform at the highest level. The topic he chose was acoustic engineering; he chose this as this field encompasses the two fields he is most passionate about: music and mathematics. Acoustic engineering is the manipulation of sound. Given his academic and musical background, it makes sense why he would want to go in this particular direction. At the All-State level, he was one of the 40 cellists accepted (out of thousands of other musicians all throughout the state) into this prestigious competition. Furthermore, he excels in math and currently takes Calculus BC. |
My Mission:
My mission is to understand the complexities of music and sound and to apply those learned concepts in order to create a concrete product that will better society. I also plan to learn and develop my professionalism, improve my public speaking skills, and increase my general knowledge of the world.
